Our flat-packed furniture is designed to be assembled easily, but we do understand sometimes it might be a struggle or you're simply too busy do it yourself. This is why we now offer an assembly service by our own qualified technicians so that the furniture fits and functions the way it was designed to.
How we work:
Contracting our services
The Customer acknowledges that the price for performing assemble and installation services as per our quotation constitutes and agreement to accept our offer and agrees to Terms of Service at the time of confirming and appointment booking.
Assembly service is arranged between 6.30am and 3.30pm. Our job scheduling program appoints a specific time of day for your appointment. Please know that we can arrive up to 90-minutes earlier or later that this scheduled time. Reasons may include traffic conditions, a prior job was incomplete due to missing parts or transit damage.
Cancellation of bookings is to be received at least 48-hours prior to time of appointment. If our assemblers are scheduled to arrive at the Customer's premise without 48-hours prior notice of cancellation, our Cancellation Fee equivalent to £40 shall be charged.
Moving Existing Furniture
Our quote does not include labour of moving new or existing furniture, whether it be create a clear floor work space, relocate to another room, place in storage or discard.
Access to the property
Please be aware it is Customer's responsibility to make easy access for the delivery and assembly i.e. leave appropriate instructions if the property is gated and has concierge and to make sure there is an available parking space for the team. If your area has permit only parking space, we might not be able to perform an assembly.
It is Customer's responsibility to pay any parking charges occurred.
Physical work area
All of our furniture assembly work is performed on the Customer's floor. It is Customer's responsibility to ensure a clean and appropriate physical work space is readily available for our assemblers. If in any doubt, please discuss your situation with us prior to the booking. If your room is not ready upon our arrival we will charge additional £30 plus VAT for each 30-minutes until the job can be started.
Wall mounted furniture
Please be aware that for safety reasons the fold away bed needs to be mounted to a wall. Fixings for this as well as for any wall hung shelves, hanging cabinets will not be included as you need ones specific for your type of wall. Wall fixings for your specific type of wall can be purchased at a local DIY store.
You can request a wall -mounting service at an additional cost of £25. This will be possible after initial assessment and a safety check and will agreed during assembly appointment. Our technicians will supply all necessary wall fixings.
Please be advised that our joiners can't take any responsibilities and there is no guarantee for this particular service.
You shall not later than 24-hours of completion of the works inspect and immediately give notice to us of any defects in our scope of assembly and installation works. Failure by you to inspect such works performed by us or notify us of defects shall be deemed acceptance by you.
Unless pre-discussed, or quotation does not include labour costs of removing waste, whether it to be another room, place of storage or to discard. Such requests should be pre-discussed with us and labour expenses for performing such shall be billed according to both time and effort expensed. Our vehicle is not allowed access to the council tips and the charge to use trade waste sites will be for your account.
Please be advised that our assemblers MUST wear protective shoes at all the time within your premises. On wet rainy days, it is advisable to have an old bath towel/mat made available for our staff to wipe their shoes upon before entering your premises.
